Rachel Nelson is an Audit & Reporting Manager for Renewable Properties. As an Audit & Reporting Manager, Rachel’s responsibilities include leading the yearly audit, preparing audit schedules, as well as preparing financials, reports and consolidations on a quarterly/yearly basis. Rachel joined Renewable Properties in 2022. Prior to joining the team, Rachel worked as a Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & SOX Compliance for Viracta Therapeutics, Inc. where she was responsible for preparation of quarterly, annual and periodic SEC filings and footnotes as well as leading the quarterly/yearly audits. Prior to that, she worked as an Audit Experienced Senior at BDO, LLP where she maintained and led audit engagements of public and private clients in solar, life science, technology and restaurant industries. Rachel earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Emphasis in Accounting from California State University, San Marcos.
