Pedro León de la Barra is a Project Manager for Renewable Properties. As a Project Manager, Pedro’s responsibilities include working with contractors, developers, utilities, landowners and other stakeholders to oversee engineering, procurement and construction of solar projects, specifically managing negotiation and implementation of EPC contracts. Pedro has been in the solar energy industry for seven years and joined Renewable Properties in 2023. Prior to joining the team Pedro worked as a Project Manager for Sol Systems where he managed development and construction responsibilities for over 50MW of distributed generation (DG) solar projects serving commercial and industrial customers in states including Illinois, Nebraska, New Jersey and New York. Before that role, Pedro worked as a Project Manager for New Columbia Solar where he managed development and construction responsibilities for commercial solar projects in the Washington DC metropolitan region. Pedro’s certifications include OSHA 10 and the NABCEP Associate certification. Pedro holds a Bachelors in Economics degree from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) earned his MBA from Yale School of Management.
