Mike Gallo is a Director of Business Development for Renewable Properties based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in San Francisco, California. As a Director of Business Development, Mike’s responsibilities include M&A, strategic partnerships, and originating the development of solar projects across the United States. He works with various project partners, utilities, landowners, investors, developers and community stakeholders. He has been in the solar energy industry for over 13 years and joined Renewable Properties in 2024. Prior to joining the team, Mike worked as the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions for Idemitsu Renewables focusing on Utility-Scale Solar and Storage for the East Coast and Midwest markets. Previously, he worked at NRG Energy focusing on Strategic Partnerships for the Residential Solar business before transitioning to be a National Business Development Manager for NextEra Energy Resources working on Distributed Solar Generation and Storage with Fortune 500 partners. Mike started his renewable energy career working for Enel Green Power where he helped build Utility-Scale Wind projects and the Stillwater Solar project, the world’s first hybrid Solar PV, CSP, and Geothermal powerplant. Mike received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis and has a MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
