John Murnin is a Director of EV Business Development for Renewable Properties based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in San Francisco. As a business development director, John’s responsibilities include origination, negotiation and execution of fleet charging contracts and land-lease agreements for Renewable Properties’ charging facilities. John works closely with autonomous, ride-hail, and last-mile-delivery fleets, as well as site developers and own-and-operate entities. John has been in the clean energy industry for 15 years and joined Renewable Properties in 2025. Prior to joining the team John worked as Sales Director for Shell where he worked with top U.S. fleets originating and delivering turn-key and charging-as-service fleet programs. Prior to Shell, John worked as Sales Director for SunPower where he originated and sold large-scale, turn-key solar projects to top US technology companies. John earned his bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications from California State University, Chico.
