Dave Nielsen is the Chief Financial Officer for Renewable Properties and is based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in San Francisco. As the Chief Financial Officer, Dave is responsible for Renewable Properties’ Corporate Finance, Accounting and Asset Management functions. He works with the company’s investors, banks, and other financial partners. He has been in the energy and construction industry for over 15 years and joined Renewable Properties in 2023. Prior to joining the team, Dave worked as Chief Financial Officer for Bigge where he led the finance, accounting, and IT functions. Previously, Dave worked as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance for BrightSource Energy, a developer of and technology provider to, utility scale solar projects. Previously, he worked as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan where he covered companies in the power, utility, and renewable energy sectors. Dave earned a BSE in Operations Research & Financial Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
