Daniel Boitel is the Chief Investment Officer for Renewable Properties, based in Miami, Florida. As the CIO, Daniel’s responsibilities include leading the project finance team and overseeing capital raising activities for all renewable energy and EV charging assets. He has been in the solar energy and project finance industries for over 12 years and joined Renewable Properties in 2024. To date, he has raised over $2 billion of debt and equity for North American renewable energy projects. Before joining the team, Daniel was the Director of Project Finance for Silicon Ranch, where he led large-scale utility debt and tax equity capital raises and financings across North America. Previously, he headed the distributed generation project finance team at Origis Energy and held positions at MUFG and JPMorgan. Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Rutgers University.
