Cassie Yu is a Director of Project Finance for Renewable Properties. As a Director of Project Finance, Cassie’s responsibilities include sourcing and executing tax equity and debt for renewable energy projects, working with internal teams, capital providers, and third-party consultants. Cassie has been in the solar energy industry for over 8 years and joined Renewable Properties in 2022. Prior to joining the team, Cassie worked as VP of Project Finance for Swell Energy where she raised tax equity and debt for residential and commercial solar & storage portfolios. Prior to Swell, Cassie led M&A efforts at RWE Renewables and sPower. Cassie earned her MBA from Duke University and holds a master’s degree in construction management from Columbia University. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Dalian University of Technology in China.
