Bonnie Thornton is an Interconnection Manager for Renewable Properties, based out of Albuquerque, NM. As an Interconnection Manager, Bonnie’s responsibilities include advancing projects through the interconnection process by interfacing with utility companies, tracking required studies, and ensuring management of the Interconnection Agreement milestones and utility upgrade schedule. She has been in the solar energy industry for four years and joined Renewable Properties in 2025. Prior to joining the team Bonnie worked as an Interconnection Coordinator for Reactivate where she worked on the EPC team, leading the interconnection process from early-stage diligence to Notice to Proceed. Before her time at Reactivate Bonnie worked at DSD Renewables as an Interconnection Specialist and Project Development Associate, leading the interconnection process from development through Permission to Operate and overseeing outside developers from development through Notice to Proceed. Bonnie earned her bachelor’s degree in Sustainability from Arizona State University.
