Allan Riska is a Chief Investment Officer for Renewable Properties based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in San Francisco, California. As Chief Investment Officer, Allan leads a team that sources and closes capital to finance solar projects from development through operation. He works with various banks, financial institutions, capital providers and partners.

Allan has been in the solar energy industry for ten years and has closed over $1.8 Billion of capital across 750 MWs. Prior to joining Renewable Properties Allan spent three years as a Director on the Project Finance team at Cypress Creek Renewables where he led project financings on utility scale and community solar facilities. Before joining Cypress Creek Renewables, he worked as a Senior Manager in the Project Finance group at SunEdison where he financed utility scale and C&I solar facilities for SunEdison and Terraform. Allan started his finance career working with structured products at Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch.

Allan holds an undergraduate degree in finance from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business.
